Classes were suspended at Philippine School-Muscat from 5-9 September. They have 2 students positive of the flu. I hope the kids gets well soon. I wonder when will this virus go away.

Thank God, Isabel recovered from a common cold last week. Now, I’m giving her a daily dose of Vitamin C and Multivitamins while waiting for the commmon flu shots to arrive by next month as advised by her pedia. Arrgh! The wait is too long..

Anyways, Isa and I will just stay home and wait for her Dad coming from work. I hope he gets a day off too.

I grew up listening to Michael Jackson’s songs.  I even danced “BAD” in grade school feast day. I remember owning a USA for Africa t-shirt.

Man in the Mirror is my all time favorite song. Other includes Scream, You are not alone, The way you make me feel, I just can’t stop Loving you, Smooth Criminal, Human Nature and Shes’ out of my life.

Now, he’s out of our lives but his music will live forever.

I bet MJ’s going to moonwalk his way to his final resting place.

Thank goodness, for Mamma Mia and ABBA’s songs it keeps your mind from singing Careless Whisper.

I used to love this song especially Tamia’s version..but now I don’t know if I can sing it in public…

I bet this song will top the charts now for song of the year as the biggest video scandal (song background) came out recently in the Philippine showbiz involving Hayden Kho-doctor turned model and Katrina Halili-young actress turned biatchy turned innocent. If you knew you were violated, you wouldn’t be in that act for like half hour….

My my how can I resist you…Mamma Mia

I’ve watched Mamma Mia for the nth time already…and we’re still counting. My little girl, Isabel really likes it. She dances, sings along and delivers dialogues while watching it. She especially likes Dancing Queen, I have a Dream, Mamma Mia, Our Last Summer, Slipping Through My Fingers and Thank You for the Music. Thanks to ABBA for the great songs. These are the songs we grew up and Mi Amours favorite.

 She used to watch musicals like High School Musical, Camp Rock and Cheetah Girls.

 I feel like Donna when she gives away Sophie at the wedding singing Slipping thorough my Fingers. As this coming June, Isabel is already in Grade school.

Lucas and Peyton says Goodbye to One Tree Hill

Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton won’t be coming back for One Tree Hill’s 7th Season as the Season finale went on air last may 18. I wonder what went wrong but this and this articles confirm it. I personally don’t like the Lucas-Peyton love affair from the beginning of the show as I see Peyton’s character not growing and learning. She is problematic, selfish and she has way too much hang ups. I feel bad for the show and I believe this is the story of Lucas and Nathan Scott as brothers growing up with different personalities, perspectives and way of life. How can the story go on with only one brother? As long as James Lafferty remains in it. We wait and see what happens. I just hope it won’t be like The OC when Mischa Barton left the show and it wrapped up after one season.

Adam vs. Kris

American Idol Season 8 finally came to a surprising end. Kris Allen won. The laid back, easy and coolness of Kris made it to the top. I didn’t know he was married until the final night or I was just not paying attention. Seriously, he’s really cute- the guy you would take to a family dinner.

But talent and creativity wise I knew it was going to be Adam since his performance of the Semi Finals song Satisfaction. It made me look forward to the future episodes and not until he sang Tracks of my Tears that it made him a winner for me. This is really a wild card for Adam, he looked like Elvis.

Finally, Twilight

I finally watched TWILIGHT..The first day of showing here in the Philippines.We got the last full show tickets at Times Square Plaza.

Till now I can’t get enough..I’ll write about this soon..
