Elephant Charm
August 21, 2008Few weeks back, I noticed my collegue ripping the HERMES ad page “Hermes Orange Indian Pink” in Emirates Woman issue. The ad campaign featured elephants painted artistically in orange & pink. She placed it beside her computer. Ajay another collegue from India noticed that and asked why she had the picture. She said she liked the color combination but all along I thought she liked the bag featured. He told her that placing it in front of you or just having it brings luck as the elephant is a strong symbol of luck.
Now I also have mine placed beside my computer hoping that it would bring forth additional luck in our lives. I like the bangles though and I’m planning to get one. Anyways, I guess it worked somehow since we got the good news I was telling about. Sigh, maybe the energy and luck trancends from me to Mi Amour since he has the one with the news.
This is my workstation..
and the Hermes bangle…
Back in ‘Pinas, an elephant shaped house is currently being built in Davao. The owner has a fascination with elephant though he said he hasn’t seen one in real life. It was said to have cost Php 3M!!!!

Isabel goes GG Style
August 21, 2008Gosh, my little girl is so up to date when it comes to fashion. First, she had the jelly shoes way ahead of me. Now, she has the Blair Waldorf headband and Little Jenny’s printed knee socks.

Gladiators x Zara
August 20, 2008I still can’t get enough of gladiator sandals. I accidentally bought this pair last Friday at Zara Girls. I was actually getting a pair for Isabel but they don’t have Size 29 anymore. Luckily, they have it in my size.. I’ll definitely check on other Zara stores maybe they still have it in small sizes as this would look really fab on Isabel. We’ve had matching outfits before so why not.
It shows some resemblance to Banglez by Steve Madden and it’s not that pricey. It’s definitely a best buy.

What Minerva means???
August 14, 2008Minerva is the Roman virgin goddess of wisdom, war, art, schools and commerce. The counterpart of Greek goddess Athena.
And my Mama named me Minerva..
| What Minerva Means |
You are confident, self assured, and capable. You are not easily intimidated. You master any and all skills easily. You don’t have to work hard for what you want. You make your life out to be exactly how you want it. And you’ll knock down anyone who gets in your way!You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It’s easy to get you excited… which can be a good or bad thing. You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don’t stick with any one thing for very long. You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start. You are very intuitive and wise. You understand the world better than most people. You also have a very active imagination. You often get carried away with your thoughts. You are prone to a little paranoia and jealousy. You sometimes go overboard in interpreting signals. You are friendly, charming, and warm. You get along with almost everyone. You are wild, crazy, and a huge rebel. You’re always up to something. You are very hyper. You never slow down, even when it’s killing you. You are usually the best at everything … you strive for perfection.

Touched by a Sky Angel Cowboy
August 14, 2008
I got this email from a friend yesterday and Mi Amour was talking about it last night at home. I wasn’t able to watch it till now and yeah, I felt goosebumps all over. Coming from a little boy who showed compassion and faith that despite the loss he experienced, he gained the most by turning and trusting on God and leaving it all up to Him.
For us, whatever it is that bothers and no matter how big or petty it is, we should just let go and trust God. Time to change the old adage “To see is to believe” into “Believe and you will see.”
Be blessed everybody..

So Sick
August 6, 2008Mi Amour is so sick for 2 days now. He’s down with fever and cold and he just slept all day and probably ate leftovers. Yesterday, I told him I will cook something for him and when I got back for work..there’s a pot of cooked yummy Pinakbet and breaded porkchops already waiting for me.
Even if he’s so sick..He manged to cook for me the best.
Before we kissed goodnight, I asked if he missed me during the day he answered “Thats why I cooked so I can spend time with you.”
Even if he’s so sick..he’s sweet…
