My my how can I resist you…Mamma Mia

I’ve watched Mamma Mia for the nth time already…and we’re still counting. My little girl, Isabel really likes it. She dances, sings along and delivers dialogues while watching it. She especially likes Dancing Queen, I have a Dream, Mamma Mia, Our Last Summer, Slipping Through My Fingers and Thank You for the Music. Thanks to ABBA for the great songs. These are the songs we grew up and Mi Amours favorite.

 She used to watch musicals like High School Musical, Camp Rock and Cheetah Girls.

 I feel like Donna when she gives away Sophie at the wedding singing Slipping thorough my Fingers. As this coming June, Isabel is already in Grade school.

I regret not bringing Magic Sing here in Oman so she can practice singing.

What I’m listening to…

I’ve been listening to this song for a week now after watching a Smallville episode “Hero”. The scenes when the song was played really fits esp. when Lex Luthor closes the door and behind him was Kara.

Back to the song, I didn’t know it was quite old as this was released in 2006 and was then a big hit. It was remixed by Timbaland who added certain drum beat that made it more serious, added depth and very emo. Actually, there’s not much difference but the hype in YouTube was phenomenal, it garnered 48 Million views. I hope this song will not be One Republic’s one hit number as Ryan Tedder, the bands lead vocals and writer (who looks like BenMcKenzie of The OC) is really cute.

I wonder what was I listening to during this time??

Not so fine day.

I chose to name this blog “One Fine Day” as I would like everything in my life to be on a positive note and shy away from anything negative..But today, is an exception. Boy, I’m so mad, irate & furious today..I wanted to scream and then have a quiet moment to myself and cave in..Not in the mood for work..

Grabbed my Ipod and got lost in tunes. I got Storm by Lifehouse playing. In some ways, the lyrics were heartfelt.

       ” I know you didn’t bring me out here to drown
         So why am I ten feet under and upside down

         Because I’m so used to living underneath the surface.”
