I’ve watched Mamma Mia for the nth time already…and we’re still counting. My little girl, Isabel really likes it. She dances, sings along and delivers dialogues while watching it. She especially likes Dancing Queen, I have a Dream, Mamma Mia, Our Last Summer, Slipping Through My Fingers and Thank You for the Music. Thanks to ABBA for the great songs. These are the songs we grew up and Mi Amours favorite.

Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton won’t be coming back for One Tree Hill’s 7th Season as the Season finale went on air last may 18. I wonder what went wrong but this and this articles confirm it. I personally don’t like the Lucas-Peyton love affair from the beginning of the show as I see Peyton’s character not growing and learning. She is problematic, selfish and she has way too much hang ups. I feel bad for the show and I believe this is the story of Lucas and Nathan Scott as brothers growing up with different personalities, perspectives and way of life. How can the story go on with only one brother? As long as James Lafferty remains in it. We wait and see what happens. I just hope it won’t be like The OC when Mischa Barton left the show and it wrapped up after one season.
American Idol Season 8 finally came to a surprising end. Kris Allen won. The laid back, easy and coolness of Kris made it to the top. I didn’t know he was married until the final night or I was just not paying attention. Seriously, he’s really cute- the guy you would take to a family dinner.
But talent and creativity wise I knew it was going to be Adam since his performance of the Semi Finals song Satisfaction. It made me look forward to the future episodes and not until he sang Tracks of my Tears that it made him a winner for me. This is really a wild card for Adam, he looked like Elvis.
Mi Amour left the country last week to prepare for our big move. I was left here for the second time but it’s just going to be awhile. I missed Mi Amour. The news of my sudden extension came out last week. We were dissappointed as I don’t know exactly how long the extension will be though they’ve mentioned 1 week, I don’t think I can trust them now. I have to re-book my tickets for Oct. 31 flight instead of 24.
To pass the time, I’ve started watching One Tree Hill. I vowed to finish Season 1 to 5 this month. Actually, this series will be a diversion away from missing Mi amour and Isabel and to my obsession with Edward Cullen and Twilight be it the book or movie. I finished reading New Moon and stopped on that though I have Eclipse and Breaking Dawn at hand. I was tempted to read the first chapter of Eclipse but I really have to stop now. I will read the books later or until after I’ve watched the movie. I’ve stopped googling Robert Pattinson’s name for now.
I finished the first season of One Tree Hill’s last night. I’ll be spending late nights with the gorgeous faces of Tree Hill particulary James Lafferty as Nathan Scott.
Twilight finally released the official trailer last Thursday. I really can’t wait to watch this. So far, I’m seeing what I’ve read and I’m liking the treetop scene.
Last week, I finally got to watch Mario Puzo’s The Godfather 1, 2 & 3 and at the moment one of my favorite movies..It is a classic and one of American Film Institute’s Top 10 and tops Entertainment Weekly as the greatest film ever made. This is not a review in any way since you can find it all over the net. I just want to write about my ongoing crush with Al Pacino aka Michael Corleone. He is really handsome and the dark look and expression that he has could make you believe every word that he has to say just like Kay did. I envy Diane Keaton for his on/off relationship with him. Too bad they didn’t end up together. Everything in the movie was put together even the soundtrack. Now Mi Amour constantly hums “Speak Softly Love” & “Promise Me You’ll Remember.” I would want to read the novel now and know more about Michael’s character because i think it is so “bitin” and I wonder why it took them so long (18 years since Part 1) to make the Part 3 since Michael is just starting to be the Godfather in Part 2. Anyways, I really can’t get enough of this movie. Every bit of this movie has story and landed on the famous list. I will definitely get the DVD box set soon..

Since I moved to Dubai, I got hooked on every tv series available for my viewing pleasure. I’ve watched every season of Friends, Smallville, Grey’s Anatomy, Heroes, Ghost Whisperer, Entourage, Prison Break and The OC.
I’ve already watched Episodes 1-7 and I can say that life in the Upper East Side of Manhattan is glamorous and scandalous. I’m making some comparisons with The OC and I guess they just sterotyped the lives of the rich and popular teens to be troubled and have twisted family backgrounds. Well isn’t that always the case. Dating, fraud, drugs, fashion, name it both has the same subplots; not ot mention it is also created by J.S.
Episode 14 was aired last night, it garnered 2.4 million views. hoping to catch that new episode soon.
